    Overview:
    ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work remote with our client.

    The Enterprise Architect 3 role works with the company's architects to manage all aspects of the organization's architecture, including strategy, business data, and applications.

    This involves setting standards, using modeling tools effectively, and making sure everything is well-maintained and up-to-date.

    This position are also the main contact for the architecture repository and modeling tools, and help ensure everything is running smoothly.

    This full-time position is located in Portland, OR.

    Responsibilities:
    Architecture Model Manager
    Coordinate and perform architecture modeling using

    Sparx Enterprise Architect:
    Create high-level models of business, data, and application interactions.
    Model current state, target state, and plateau architectures.
    Troubleshoot issues related to modeling.
    Generate reports, and develop presentations and other associated documentation.
    Integrate various sources of data into the Sparx model.
    Create automated techniques to regularly QC model data to identify integrity issues.
    Identify methods to allow collaboration with non-architects in the validation/use of model data.
    Develop, test, and execute scripts (e.g., SQL, Javascript, VBscript, Powershell) to enhance and automate model updates and quality control.

    Support stewardship of modeling standards at the enterprise level as set by the MTE organization and EA governance.
    Monitor compliance with modeling standards adopted by the organization and work with owners of non-compliant areas to resolve issues.
    Work with architects to regularly improve consistency of modeling and analysis (processes and artifacts).

    Maintain day-to-day operation of the repository including adding and removing users, managing access to the model's contents, publishing completed content and ensuring that the model is in a consistent state when published, and working with IT support to resolve issues.

    Ensure processes and methods are in place to consistently monitor and report on quality and controls for upkeep of the enterprise architecture model.

    Provide best practices to configure and manage Sparx EA to meet the requirements of architects as prioritized by the MTE leadership.

    Data Call Coordination

    Provide direct support for data calls to fill in or refine the architecture model. This may include creation of intake forms, outreach to different stakeholders, and validation of submitted data with architects.
    Identify ways to automate and streamline data calls to keep core architectural elements in synch with IT and business.
    Organize, monitor, analyze, and report on performance and metrics pertaining to data call artifact collections and processes.
    Maintain and update process artifacts, verifying they are up-to-date and of adequate quality (reliable, consistent, and useful).
    Mark documents and maintain filing system(s), files, emails, and records in accordance with compliance requirements. Share and disperse documents only to appropriate personnel (those with a Lawful Government Purpose (LGP) to know).

    Mark and maintain all official records in accordance with the Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Governance & Lifecycle Management (IGLM) standards and procedures.

    Validate official records are accurately maintained for auditing purposes.

    Application Support

    Communicate technically with application, database, and infrastructure support staff.
    Coordinate, facilitate, and execute software testing and deployments of updates.
    Install, configure, and support server-based applications and add-ins (e.g., MDG).
    Install, configure, and support different repositories (SQL server, EAP file) and imports/exports (e.g., XML, XMI).
    Act as a point-of-contact to troubleshoot application issues.
    Maintain application documentation and administration processes as they relate to company-specific implementation.


    Requirements:
    5 years of experience working with architecture modeling and architecture modeling tools.
    Experience with managing project architectures, ideally, across multiple domains.
    Experience with modeling languages such as UML, ArchiMate, BPMN.
    Experience administering and troubleshooting Sparx Enterprise Architect repositories through installations, configurations, and updates.
    Experience in scripting languages such as JavaScript or VB Script.
    Familiarity with integrating Sparx Enterprise Architect to sources and repositories using SQL, plug-ins, and other automation techniques.
    Familiarity with TOGAF (v10) architecture framework and the ArchiMate (v3.1) modeling specifications.
    Familiar with architecture governance.
    Ability to organize and facilitate review meetings.
    Good stakeholder management skills.
    Certification in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
    Experience with modeling complex enterprises across business and technology.
    Knowledge of and experience working with Microsoft Windows Active Directory, SharePoint, and PowerBI.
    Working knowledge of software development life cycle processes including QA.
