    School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Capistrano Unified School District (Laguna Niguel, CA)

    Make a Difference in the Lives of Students

    The Capistrano Unified School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Laguna Niguel, CA

    About the Role:

    In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication needs of students in one to two elementary schools (Kindergarten - 5th grade). You will provide essential speech and language services to a full range of disabilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students (K-5th grade)
    • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address a variety of speech and language disorders
    • Collaborate with teachers, general education staff, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student success
    • Monitor student progress and document outcomes
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices

    Qualifications:

    • Must possess a valid California Speech-Language Pathology License (CA SLP)
    • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) preferred
    • Strong clinical skills in speech and language assessment and intervention
    • Experience working with children in a school setting (preferred)
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
    • Commitment to data-driven decision making and student success

    Schedule:

    • Full-time position (8 hours per day)
    • Start date negotiable (NSY)

    Interview Style:

    • Interviews will be conducted with the Speech-Language Pathology Director. Phone interviews are acceptable.
