    Job Description

    This Senior Financial Analyst position is a highly visible role that contributes to Verra Mobility success by supporting the Commercial Services business segment in functional strategic planning, modeling, pricing, analysis and reporting. This position will report directly to the Director of Finance, Commercial Services.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Build and/or maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning (Financial Modeling and reporting).
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement (Data Analytics).
    • Create and manage budgets as well as forecasting future financial performance (Budgeting and Forecasting).
    • Investigate discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial results to understand the reasons behind them (Variance Analysis).
    • Communicate complex financial information and concepts to both financial and non-financial business leaders to support and influence decision making (Data Presentation and Function Support).
    • Simplify process and create frameworks to support Business Function (Process Improvement and simplification).

    • Develop strong relationships and partnerships with peers across the great organization to ensure team success and standardize best practices and processes.
    • Perpetual focus on process improvement and efficiency gains across all areas of the business, including the ability to develop, document and update processes.
    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    • BS or BA degree in finance or accounting required
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of FP&A experience
    • Ability to think strategically, prepare and present complex data in a simple, understandable manner, and have strong written, verbal communication and listening skills.
    • Advanced experience with Microsoft Products (Excel, PPT, etc.).
    • Resourceful, strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to relate to all levels within the organization and comfortably partner with leaders and executives.
    • Ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
    Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong data analysis skills with established ability to take data and create actionable insight
    • Cloud-based SAAS financial application (Oracle EPM PBCS, Host Analytics, Adaptive, Vena, Hyperion Essbase) experience a plus
    • BI experience a plus
