Job Description
Job DescriptionJob Summary: The Research Fellow collaborates with other members of a specialized study team to facilitate the conduct of biomedical research in the hospital. The incumbent participates in lab research and analysis, assists with research protocols and data gathering, and ensures research standards are met. Monitors quality control and safety of research activities.
Specifications: Doctoral training in immunology, molecular biology, or other related scientific discipline from a nationally recognized institution. Knowledge of cell culture, induction of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes, cytokine release assays, cytotoxicity assays, molecular techniques involved nucleic acid extraction, PCR, RNase protection, FISH, and electrophoresis techniques is preferred. Must be familiar with biomedical research techniques and computerized systems for data collection and analysis.
