    Description
    Litehouse is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team in Hurricane, UT. The QA Supervisor promotes quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with standards and regulations through inspections, testing, record-keeping and provides overall quality assurance support.

    ResponsibilitiesEnsure the highest standards of quality are met, and continuously seek out opportunities to improve products, practices, and processesEnsure compliance with national (third party audits), international (GFSI-SQF), and regulatory (FSMA) standards through implementation and enforcement of policy and procedureModel correct behavior in the principles of quality manufacturing as they relate to the food industry such as HACCP, GMP & SQF Manage and maintain quality inspections, product release and hold programs implemented at the plant level, for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goodsInspect product throughout production cycle and conduct inspection, testing and sampling activitiesEnsure first case checks are completed at startup and checks are collected at designated intervals throughout production Participate in the corrective action process (internal, customer, regulatory, etc) including root cause analysis, identification of corrective action, and verification of correctionsAnalyze existing data sources (MVI, NWA) to identify and correct issues.

    Prepare reports (charts, papers, etc) appropriate for the intended audienceReview, update, and standardize current policies to ensure they are compliant with corporate policy, regulatory requirements, and identified best practicesLead and respond to customer or consumer complaint investigationsEnsure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessaryPerform routine housekeeping audits; report issues and follow-up on corrective actionsPrimary backup in the plant for all quality and food safety issuesOther duties and activities as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree preferred.

    Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.1-3 years or relevant experience.

    Ability to understand and use all necessary laboratory testing equipment (including but not limited to:
    pH meters and moisture analyzers) including setup, calibration, basic maintenance and troubleshootingSound understanding of basic and advanced mathematics, with some basic statistical knowledge preferredKnowledge of ROSS or other inventory management system, NWA or other statistical analysis system and SharePoint or other similar system is preferredAbility to work productively and independently at a self-established pace and seek direction as neededAbility to communicate in solution or project goal terms.
    Ability to manage complex product lines that require significant client relationship skills.
    Strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas effectively and efficiently.
    Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside/outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
