    PROJECT MANAGER

    Role Summary:

    The Project Manager aids and supports the Commercial Sales Team with day-to-day operations.

    Scope of the Position:

    The Multifamily Project Manager will be located at the Huntsville, AL site. This position requires <10% travel to job sites.

    Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities expected of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Identify areas of opportunities to grow the department and/or company.
    • Partner with Purchasing to identify inventory issues.
    • Partner with Millwork to identify any issues with upcoming orders.
    • Ship orders out via UPS/LTL shipments.
    • Enter PO confirmations into Bistrack software and track Special Orders to the jobsite and/or to Wilson Lumber.
    • Project Manager compiling project submittals on all products sold.
    • Estimate new opportunities as directed by sales, taking off selected items and entering quotes. Send off for quotes as needed to vendors. Download and file plans, manage addendums, and RFI's.
    • Assist Lead Project Manager in estimating and bids
    • Assist Project Coordinator on shipment breakouts and sequences.
    • Assist in handling punch requests from Superintendents, using Sales or Lead Project Manager to direct as needed.
    • Other support tasks as we grow as a team.
    Position Qualifications:
    • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law
    • Well-developed team skills and unquestioned integrity
    • Strong analytical skills;
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;
    • Effective written and verbal communication/presentation skills;
    • Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
    • Detail oriented
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
    Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
    • Experience in construction and estimating is a plus but not required
    Physical Requirements:
    • Sit, Stand, frequently
    • Adapt to various environments including production
