- Work 36 hours per week in the Neurological Critical Care Unit (NCCU)
- Float to Surgical ICU (SICU) and other critical care units as needed
- Provide care in 10-bed NCCU serving as the only Neuro Critical Care Unit in Northern New England
- Care for primary stroke center patients including ischemic stroke patients requiring thrombectomy and TPA, hemorrhagic stroke patients needing ventriculostomies and emergent evacuations
- Support neurosurgery patients including tumor resections and brain/spine abscesses
- Manage neuro-medical conditions such as meningitis, encephalitis, and neuro-muscular disorders
- Work in 18-bed SICU with surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis patients
- Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ICP monitoring
- Care for ventilated patients requiring pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
- Assist with line insertion and maintenance for post-surgical patients
- Manage specialized equipment including ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, EVDs, and PA lines with waveform interpretation
- Critical care experience required
