- Certification and current registration as Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Must be registry-eligible and obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire and keep it current.
- Attend a 6 lead EKG course within 6 months of hire.
- Perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures.
- Produce quality images while ensuring radiation and physical safety measures are applied.
- Assist physicians during fluoroscopic procedures.
- Collect patient data and document procedures.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
