Job description
Saltbreaker is seeking part-time Servers to join our team for dinner shifts. Our ideal candidate is guest-centric and service-oriented, gracious under pressure, and has a friendly and humble attitude.
We are Alameda's gem for great food and cocktails featuring a seasonal menu and local makers.

Pay Range: between $41 to $47 per hour (based on $17.50 per hour + tips)
Who you are:
- 3+ years of serving experience in upscale casual/fine dining restaurants
- Available for dinner shifts. Some weekday and weekend availability is required
- Experienced with entering orders and processing payments in Toast or comparable POS systems.
- Reliable and respectful
- Can stand and walk for extended periods of time; able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with guests in a warm and welcoming manner, addressing guest questions and concerns promptly.
- Be well-versed in menu offerings and specials.
- Provide wine, cocktail, and NA beverage recommendations to guests and knowledgeably answer questions.
- Take food and beverage orders
- Pre-bus and pre-set tables between courses
- Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH team mates to ensure timely and accurate orders
- Follow health and safety regulations for food handling and maintaining a clean and organized dining room
- Perform restaurant opening and closing tasks
