Job summary
The Area Manager will implement the business plan for their area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling assigning duties and coordinating workloads in order to achieve facility goals eg production quality safety Monitor and manage productivity of area of responsibility by preparing reviewing andor analyzing business reports Maintain quality and safety standards in area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on Logisticsand company policies standards procedures monitoring associate compliance to policies procedures distributing maintaining procedures supporting documentation Identify associate customer supplier concerns listening consulting others when needed determine corrective action take recommendations resolve Supervise develop associates leaders area responsibility assigning duties coordinating workloads monitoring performance providing feedback teaching supporting modeling Logistics company policies procedures identifying training development needs participating hiring promotion coaching teaching evaluation associates leaders
