Position Overview

As an IT Portfolio Manager, you will oversee the management and optimization of a portfolio of projects and programs. You will lead a team of project and program managers, providing strategic guidance and mentorship, while collaborating with stakeholders to define portfolio objectives and strategies. Your role will involve ensuring the alignment of projects with business goals, managing risks, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

A Day in the Life

  • Oversee the management and optimization of a portfolio of projects and programs (25%)

  • Lead a team of project managers, providing strategic guidance and mentorship (20%)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define portfolio objectives and strategies (15%)

  • Oversee portfolio budgeting, cost estimation, financial tracking, and reporting (15%)

  • Facilitate clear, timely communication and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders (10%)

  • Manage risks and resolve complex issues (10%)

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices (5%)

You'll Come With

  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio management.

  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

  • Proven ability to strategically execute and maintain long-term relationships with executives, positioning yourself as a trusted partner.

  • Proficiency in portfolio management tools and methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Compensation Range: $135, $175,000.00
