Job ResponsibilitiesThis position is located at Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health Center, Adult Clinic Services (ACS), CAMHC #243.
Under general supervision, provides an array of clinical services to promote recovery, stabilization, and independence based on patient's needs and plan of care; performs the function of this position in an efficient manner as evidenced by meeting Center's Patient Care Hours expectation as addressed in Productivity Protocol for the months.
Document services provided and maintain clients' medical records according to CAMHC, Medicaid, quality assurance, corporate compliance and CARF guidelines; incorporates Collaborative Documentation into services provided to patients to improve patient engagement and timely documentation of services.
Attends and participates in team meetings with clinical staff, provides input on patients, presents assessments and discusses methods of service delivery; performs administrative functions including maintenance of medical records in accordance with QA standards.
State Requirements:
A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
CAMHC Prefers:
A master's degree and one (1) year of post master's counseling experience.
Thorough knowledge of psychopathology, diagnostics, counseling, case management and recovery. Licensure preferred; licensure supervision available.

Adult Clinic Services (ACS) is also an approved site of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), which offers student loan repayment to employees of NHSC-approved sites.
