Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a brand new MRI unit opening at an acute care hospital, requiring ARRT (MR) certification and a minimum of 1 year of Epic EMR experience.
Position is based in a brand new MRI unit
Monday through Friday day shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
No weekends and no call required
Epic EMR experience required (1-year minimum)
Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have demonstrated competencies
Requirements
Current BLS, ARRT (MR), and ARMRIT certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience
Minimum of 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the relevant flagship hospital to be eligible for this position
Two professional references required for consideration
Valid driver's license required for consideration
License required if applicable
Additional Information
This is a brand new unit opening — additional details will be provided by the manager during the phone screen
The health system's goal is to keep travelers in their home unit, but floating to other units or campuses within the system may be required per census needs
Candidates residing 50–99.9 miles from the flagship hospital may be considered but are subject to a reduced rate; candidates 100+ miles away are eligible at the full travel rate
American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
