Job Summary:
We're seeking a passionate Quality Engineer to play a key leadership role in our fabrication and assembly environment. You'll work directly with customers, ensuring top-notch product quality and efficient manufacturing processes.

This role champions continuous improvement, collaborating across departments and serving as the bridge between our team and customer Supplier Quality Engineer representatives.

You'll be responsible for first article approvals, failure analysis, data analysis, and implementing corrective actions to achieve superior results.

Job Duties:
Deliver expert quality engineering support within our manufacturing operations, with a focus on welding processes for new customer projects.
Foster strong customer relationships by directly addressing product quality concerns, driving scorecard improvements, and managing product/equipment qualification activities.
Participate in Quality System maintenance activities, such as CAPA, Internal/External Audits, Complaints, and other activities
Lead internal quality improvement initiatives to consistently exceed customer targets and expectations.

Partner with product development engineers on validation activities, SPC & data analysis, control plans, report generation, and PFMEA development (as needed).

Participate in print and design reviews to identify critical characteristics and establish appropriate quality controls.
Ensure products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
Additional related duties in quality engineering.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing and producing industrial products (exposure to welding environments is a plus).
Proven track record of providing exceptional customer support focused on quality.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organization, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills.
