    Job Summary

    Growing administrator and provider of vehicle protection and purchaser products has an immediate opening for a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve as our company's front desk receptionist in our northern New Jersey office.

    In this position, you will serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those calling in on the phone or entering the building. You will be responsible for answering and managing the phones, greeting and directing guests entering the building, setting up conference rooms and sorting and distributing mail . You will also be responsible for our ticketing system.

    A successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel. Prior experience as a receptionist is also helpful.

    Job Description

    Summary of Duties:

    • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
    • Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them
    • Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
    • Helping maintain workplace security maintaining visitor logs.
    • Accept deliveries and mail, organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients
    • Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed
    • Maintain the general office filing system
    • Preparing conference room for meetings.
    • Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
    • Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
    • Provide excellent customer service.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
    • Prior experience as a receptionist or a relevant position.
    • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
    • Strong phone skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
    • Applicant should be highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour
