    Medicaid Fraud Control Unit Sergeant

    The Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the Office of the Attorney General is seeking a Sergeant whose work will involve criminal investigations of Medicaid provider fraud and nursing home related investigations. Work involves conducting criminal investigations of violations of various state and federal statutes prosecution assistance as needed.     JOB POSTING NOTICE Applicants for this position should be prepared to pass background investigation Applicants will also subject motor vehicle registration check The MFCU works cases jointly other law enforcement agencies including FBI U.S Department Health Human Services Inspector General IRS In certain cases necessary staff have Top Secret security clearance fully participate joint investigations task force activities Top Secret clearances not required prior employment but certain cases may required later date Since most security clearance problems arise from criminal records unresolved bad credit issues full criminal credit checks run on all applicants prior employment
