    Job Description for Retail Store Operations

    Position: Retail Store Operations Associate

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Retail Store Operations Associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Ensure smooth daily operations of the retail store, including opening and closing procedures

    Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and organization, including stocking shelves, arranging merchandise, and conducting inventory checks

    Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases

    Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and balance cash drawers

    Collaborate with store management to implement store promotions, sales, and marketing initiatives

    Assist in training new employees on store policies, procedures, and best practices

    Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations

    Monitor and report any safety concerns or maintenance issues to store management

    Perform additional tasks as assigned by store management

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Previous experience in retail operations or customer service is preferred

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

    Basic math and computer skills

    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

    Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
