    Key responsibilities include but not limited to;
    Plans school health program, in conjunction with medical authorities and school leaders, developing policies and procedures for the school' health programs
    Monitoring compliance of the school's health programs with federal state and local laws and regulations; collaborating with other child- support agencies
    Provide medical examinations and review findings to evaluate health status of student and progress of the program

    Management responsibilities include but not limited to:
    Providing direct supervision and leadership of all nurses and health team
    Oversee services and insure proper documentation
    Train, coach and develop nurses-individually and as a team, also participate in the recruitment, hiring and evaluation process of nursing and other health related staff
    Oversee health based 504s, IEPs and health plans and meet compliance requirements related to these plans

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Must have a current School Nurse certification in compliance with State/District Requirements(for IL a PEL with a School Nurse Endorsement
    CPR and PALS certification
    A minimum of 3 years recent experience as a school nurse with demonstrated leadership experience

    MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL ACROSS CAMPUSES IN ILLINOIS AND WASHINGTON D.C.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Bilingual Spanish preferred
