The Opportunity

Come join our dynamic and talented DevOps Engineering Enablement team, where we focus onimplementing DevOps practices and tools to increase efficiency, collaboration, and communication between development and operations teams with the goal to improve software delivery speed, quality, and reliability. What Youll Contribute

• You have an opportunity to be part of a world-class DevOps engineering team to empower our product and engineering organization to innovate at the speed of business.
• You will bring to the team a proven track record of developing a DevOps Engineering System through building strong relationship with DevOps enablement team, change management team, Product and Engineering, Global Technology Services, cyber security, education, and professional services organizations.
• You will report to the DevOps engineering lead. You will support the engineering lead to build a strategy with a coherent plan, apply modern and resilient DevOps pattern, implement, and continuously improve an end2end DevOps engineering system.
• You will work with the engineering lead to define, communicate, enable, and institutionalize the best DevOps practices for product engineering teams through an enterprise-wide engineering system.
• You will partner closely with the DevOps enablement SMEs such as Automation SMEs, Quality SMEs, Security SMEs to architect, design and implement One Engineering System, and then guide and help Product and Engineering teams to adopt One Engineering System. You will also work with Product and Engineering teams to continuously improve the DevOps process through frequent feedback loops.
• You will work with the product architecture lead, security lead and global technology services lead to define and adopt the best DevOps tools to enable both FICO pipeline and Platform pipeline.
• You will bring engineering disciplines and system thinking into your design and implementation so you can maximize the flow of DevOps value stream.
• You need to think building One Engineering System as building a mission critical product. So you use product discovery techniques to understand why each feature is valuable, useable, feasible and viable for FICO software and our customers.
• You need to use data to inform decision making. Analyze data for trends and potential pain points and use this to prioritize and inform how to improve your engineering product.
• You need to think strategically about how to solve root problems in a scalable and repeatable way to help improve FICOs product engineering globally.
• You need to gather feedback from key stakeholders and provide recommendations on the best way to advance your teams objectives.
• You need to act as an agent for change within the organization to build strong teams and advance FICOs platform first agenda.
• FICO Platform provides the ideal foundation companies need to marry the power of human expertise and logic with artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to drive smarter, faster, and more profitable business outcomes. You will be responsible for building the One Engineering System to be used by our product engineering organization that builds the world class FICO platform.

What Were Seeking

• An experienced DevOps engineer who has been part of DevOps continuous delivery and has passion to develop automation to continuously create value in the end2end DevOps process.
• An experienced DevOps engineer who has working experience of modern and resilient Software Delivery and Infrastructure Deployment for mission critical cloud-based platforms and services.
• An experienced DevOps engineer who has experience in pipeline automation, infra-as-code deployment automation, cloud automation, testing integration automation, security integration automation, ChatOps automation, Detect-to-Correct automation, and SRE automation.
• An experienced DevOps engineer who has hands-on experience on many of the DevOps automation capabilities and practices, such as Trunk-based development, CICD, IaC, everything-as-code, K8S, shift-left monitoring, ChatOps, GitOps, Ring-based and Canary deployment, and SRE, etc.
• An experienced DevOps engineer who has hands-on experience on integration with many API-based testing, security, measurement, and collaboration tools or services.
• An experienced DevOps engineer who understands and appreciates process integrity and data integrity to build a scalable DevOps model.
• Must-be a highly technical and empathic DevOps practitioner who can interact with Product and Engineering teams with competency and influence.
• Experience in multi-clouds, API development, Jenkins, GitHub, K8S and Open-Source tools.
• Ideal candidate possesses the following attributes: Lean Thinker, Agile Mindset, Strong Listener, Development Experience, Hands-on DevOps Experiences, Easily Builds Trusting Relationships, Focused on Continual Improvement, Charismatic, Strong Leadership Traits, High Level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Experience with Organizational Change Management.

• Experience working asynchronously in a remote, distributed team. Experience working global teams.
• Strong communication skills, with clear verbal communication as well as written communication skills.
• Collaborative style: partners well with cross-functional teams solve hard problems and to complete complex deliverables with quality and business outcome.
• Ability to work across organizations with Product management, Product Engineering, Cyber Security, UX, Global Technology Services, Legal, education and professional services.
• Proficient knowledge and experience delivering presentations to many stakeholders in engineering teams and communities.
• Extensive experience in software automation, software development, engineering, product management or program management,?or equivalent experience with a proven ability to enable product and engineering organization.
• Real-life DevOps experience with end2end visibility of product development lifecycle is a plus.
• Feature management and Ring deployment experience is highly preferred.
• Test automation and/or security test automation experience is a plus.
• ChatOps experience integrated with end2end DevOps process is a plus.
• GitOps operational framework for K8S cluster management experience is a plus.
• Analytics and financial industry background is a plus.
• Bachelors degree in highly related field; Advanced degree a plus.
