Unit B at Peninsula is an 87-bed unit that offers specialized care for adult patients with various psychiatric conditions. As part of our team, you will work in a dynamic environment alongside dedicated professionals from various disciplines to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

As a Registered Nurse at Peninsula, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care by working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide supervision and guidance in daily program activities
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient environment
• Demonstrate competence in communication and counseling
• Administer medication and implement physician orders
• Facilitate patient admissions and discharges
• Participate in treatment team meetings
• Adhere to infection control and patient confidentiality policies
• Advocate for patient rights and address complaints
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain certifications and attend training sessions

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school

Experience: Previous psychiatric nursing experience preferred

Licensure: Current RN license in Tennessee, CPR certification
