    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

    An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Inpatient Pharmacist to join a small, 25-bed hospital in Northwest Missouri. We are actively seeking a pharmacist for an interim, contract-to-hire, or permanent PIC/pharmacist position. This is a unique working PIC role, where you'll be the sole pharmacist working alongside a dedicated pharmacy technician. The facility operates on a Monday to Friday day shift schedule, providing a great work-life balance.

    As an Inpatient Pharmacist at our low-volume site, your responsibilities will include:

    Pharmacy Operations:
    Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, order verification, and ensuring pliance with established protocols.

    Patient Care:
    Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring safe and effective medication use.

    Working PIC Role:
    Take on the responsibilities of the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), overseeing day-to-day pharmacy activities and ensuring regulatory pliance.

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with the pharmacy technician to maintain efficient workflow and provide high-quality pharmacy services in a small hospital setting.


    IT Systems:
    Utilize pharmacy information technology systems such as CPSI and Pyxis for medication management and order processing.

    Flexibility:
    Adapt to the low-volume environment and be responsive to the unique needs of a small hospital setting.


    Qualifications:

    • Missouri Pharmacy License
    • Hospital Pharmacy Experience
    • Fulltime Availability

    The position is available for an immediate start and offers a 13-week mitment with the option to extend based on performance and mutual agreement.
