Rate of Pay: $160,000 - $195,000
Job Duties: Develop real and/or virtual prototypes for early stage product development and exploration with consumers. Plan, coordinate and oversee validation operations, including scale up of and optimization processes, equipment assembly, in process sample analysis, use of reactors, and preparation of compliance documents. Propose and determine new or improved technologies to enhance product quality, manufacturing cost efficiencies, personnel safety, and regulatory compliance. Evaluate analytical results to establish the quality of batches. Prepare and control procedure, batch records, and other compliance documents. Plan and administer purification processes and ensure compliance with clinical good manufacturing processes. Oversee timely completion of pilot plant operations consistent with new product production activities of the department. Manage the transfer of manufacturing technologies from pilot to commercial scale. Prepare and assist in the execution of the manufacture of process validation batches, and prepare the process validation report. Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for assigned projects and develop engineering specifications and documentation for manufacturing equipment. Ensure equipment is tested, and support safety and environmental initiatives. Ensure repairs are scheduled.
Qualifications
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Aerospace, Robotics, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Staff R&D Engineer, Systems and Robotics-related occupation.
