    Job Description

    We are seeking a QA/QC Product Quality Technician to work onsite in Whitestown, Indiana. As a QA/QC Product Quality Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and analyzing warranty returns to ensure they meet our quality standards.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Inspect and test returned products (Forensic Analysis) to determine the root cause of failures.
    • Document findings and report any recurring issues to the Quality Engineer.
    • Ensure all warranty returns are processed and documented in the NPSR System.

    Quality Control:

    • Perform quality control checks on products to ensure they meet RA standards.
    • Use various testing equipment and tools to assess product quality.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Data Collection and Reporting:

    • Collect and record data on warranty returns and quality issues.
    • Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and quality trends.

    Support Continuous Improvement:

    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
    • Assist the Quality Engineer in documenting failures as an intake to work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
    • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving quality control processes.

    Customer Interaction:

    • Communicate with internal customers regarding warranty returns and quality issues.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, distribution center fulfillment specialist as needed.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.

    Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of warranty returns and quality control processes.
    • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to warranty returns, testing procedure and quality control.

    The Essentials - You Will Have:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in automation equipment and/or electrical/electronic equipment and related field preferred.

    The Preferred - You May Also Have:

    • Knowledgeable in testing automation and/or Electrical equipment.
    • Experience in handling warranty returns and customer interactions.
    • Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
    • 1+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based environment.
    • Experience with inspection and testing equipment.
    • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
