Join us at Bay Area Clinical Associates (BACA) as the Medical Director for our Berkeley Clinic and play a key role in providing exceptional care to our community

    About Us:

    At BACA, we are committed to delivering ambulatory mental health services to youth and young adults at a higher level of acuity than can be optimally managed in a standard outpatient setting.

    Therefore we offer Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs, including Dual Diagnosis, and a Transitional Outpatient Clinic, with return to primary care when feasible.

    Our vision, mission, and values drive every aspect of our organization, and we are seeking a dedicated Medical Director to lead and inspire our team of psychiatrists and licensed therapists in Berkeley across these levels of care.


    Expert Guidance:
    Showcase your expert knowledge in evidence based, multimodal mental health treatments for children, adolescents, and adults.
    Ensure the clinical care provided at the site adheres to the highest quality standards.


    Team Collaboration:


    Provide regular clinical mentorship and consultation for psychiatrists and therapists at the Berkeley site, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

    Play a pivotal role in the recruitment, orientation, and training of new clinicians.
    Collaborate regularly with the other medical directors and senior clinical staff on program design and refinement.


    Efficient Management:
    Work closely with administrative leaders through our dual leadership model to ensure efficient management of clinical affairs.

    Collaborate in tandem with administrative staff to formulate, monitor, refine, and continuously improve patient outcomes and patient/family and clinician satisfaction.


    Compliance and Awareness:


    Demonstrate a thorough understanding of federal and state health privacy laws (such as HIPAA) and other medicolegal facets of mental health practice.

    Stay abreast of mandated reporting requirements and contribute to maintaining a compliant and ethical practice.


    Organizational Alignment:
    Articulate and operationalize BACAs vision, mission, and values daily, integrating them into every decision-making process.
    Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to enhance overall patient and clinician experience.


    Qualifications:


    Active Medical License in the state of CA as an MD or DO with a proven track record in clinical supervision.

    Strong understanding of mental health treatment modalities and best practices.
    Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
    Knowledge of federal and state health privacy laws.#J-18808-Ljbffr
