- Provides clinical support staff with education, support and guidance for the implementation of quality Aza Health patient services.
- Manages and coordinates the clinical educational activities for Aza Health.
- Works in concert with the Nursing Director, Corporate Compliance Officer, Chief Medical Officer, IT Director and the Chief Operations Officer to develop and implement an Aza Health onboarding, recurring training and subsequent training program for all clinical support staff.
- Provides substantive onboarding for all clinical staff prior to release to job assignment.
- Provides individual immersion training at the employee's assigned Center to ensure specific core competencies are established in the Clinical setting.
- Provides initial and recurring training on all medical equipment.
- Collaborates with Clinical Team to identify specific skills gaps/clinical educational needs.
- Develops and conducts in-service programs in response to clinical needs and teaches staff according to current accepted standards.
- Rounds on sites to review clinical issues and monitor/observe to identify care delivery /clinical skills educational needs.
- Participates in daily huddles, Center Meetings, Center Operations Meetings and CQI meetings, to further identify educational needs.
- Coordinates the completion of mandatory education according to State and Federal regulation, as well as Aza Health.
- Supervises the maintenance of in-service educational records.
- Collaborates with Human Resources, Information Technology Department, Corporate Compliance, Administration and Operations to meet the clinical education needs of the clinical support staff.
- Participates as a resource in performance evaluation of clinical support staff.
- Professional license/Specialized training, One-year certificate from college or technical school.
- Minimum of two (2)-year office experience as a Licensed LPN or RN in Health Care or Managed Care is preferred. Practical experience in a Clinical Educator role

POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Educator is a professional role model that provides onboarding and training to the clinical support staff (Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, Referral Case Managers, Phlebotomists, X-Ray Technicians, etc.). The primary focus of the Clinical Educator is to ensure the implementation of the Aza Health mission by leading the planning, training and evaluation of clinical staff to provide safe, quality, consistent and legal health services to all Aza Health patients. Through training and education, the Clinical Educator is tasked to enhance the knowledge and skills of clinical support staff, providing expertise in clinical nursing skills and knowledge application. The Clinical Educator acts as a clinical expert and provides education and mentoring in the development of clinical skills and capabilities that facilitate the enhancement of nursing skills needed for care delivery. The Clinical Educator assesses the clinical education needs of the staff and plans, develops, implements and evaluates educational programs to meet those needs.
