System Engineer, Application and Development
(m/f/d)
who is willing to joining our development team to managing and executing the projects within development and customer support, in minor part at a customer site in Asia or North America or Europe.
Responsibilities:
Drive development projects for new SEM based applications in the Display manufacturing and SEMI advanced and panel level packaging, including SW, HW and electronic area
Develop and improve manuals and application documentation
Follow-up and completion of all technical open issues with support of local teams in Asia or North America or Europe to achieve system acceptance by customer
Support in sales and service areas through publications, presentations, customer demonstrations
Development of new system components, features, and test processes
Control of the system performance in terms of specifications including necessary corrections
Troubleshooting in mechanics, software, electronics on alpha and beta systems
Ability to cope with and manage difficult development and application tasks within a global engineering team in Germany, Asia and to the parent company in Santa Clara, USA.
Education and experience:
A technical or university degree in electrical engineering, physics or related engineering disciplines
At least 4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or comparable areas like display manufacturing, with special knowledge of system analysis, computer control, electronics, mechanics, vacuum technology
Previous knowledge of scanning electron microscope (SEM) hardware or application is an advantage
Good analytical skills
Excellent communication in German and English
