    Akira Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in the development and sustainment of shore-based ship maintenance and logistics automated information systems.

    Work will be performed in Norfolk, VA.
    The successful Systems Administrator should be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

    They should show extensive experience and judgement in planning and accomplishing goals and a comprehensive grasp of job responsibilities and meet all service-level standards regarding response time and quality.


    Job Duties:


    Supervises and manages the daily activities of configuration and operations of business systems, which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based.

    Optimizes system operation and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
    Aid users in accessing and using business systems.
    May lead and direct the work of others.

    Job Qualifications :
    High school diploma.
    0-2 years of experience in a related field.
    Full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
    Good understanding of the business or function for which applications are designed.
    Secret clearance is required.
