What You'll Be Doing:

As the Vice President of Lending, you will report directly to the Chief Experience Officer and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our lending operations.

Your role will be pivotal in driving lending initiatives aligned with our strategic goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence within the lending department.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all lending operations, including underwriting, loan processing, documentation, and approval processes.

Develop and execute lending strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.

Collaborate with senior management to develop lending policies and procedures.

Monitor lending performance and analyze key metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Provide leadership and guidance to lending staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Represent the credit union in various forums and develop strong relationships with external partners.

Prepare and present reports on lending activities to the executive team and the board of directors.

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform lending strategies.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field.

Minimum of five years of progressive experience in the Credit Union industry, with a demonstrated track record of leadership.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
