- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or standards in order to inspect product throughout the manufacturing processes to determine if it is fit for conformance or customer requirements. This can include dimensional, attribute, performance, mechanical or chemical characteristics.
- Support calibration of tools and gages as required (experience with GAGEtrak a plus).
- Utilize various types of measurement equipment required to evaluate product conformance (calipers, micrometers, gage pins, thread gages, etc)
- Leads and/or supports gage R&R or related measurement system analysis activities as required.
- Assist with identifying and correcting quality issues.
- Assist in coordinating assigned quality assurance processes throughout all manufacturing operations.
- Perform first-piece inspections to requirements.
- Perform layered process audits and internal audits as scheduled.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAssociate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred but not required; five years experience in manufacturing or engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
