Job Description:

Backbone is seeking a Project Manager candidate to join our dynamic, fast-paced team and also serve as the area Operations Manager.

Ideally, this candidate is a driven individual looking for a career opportunity with high-growth potential.

As a Project Manager/Operations Manager, you will oversee and coordinate various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed within budget, schedule, and quality standards.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with both subcontractors and clients.

In addition, this position would also manage superintendents, seek/engage prospective clients, and maintain existing client relationships.


Responsibilities:
Coordinate with clients, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are metWork closely with superintendents to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols of both Backbone personnel and its subcontractorsMonitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptlyManage materials procurement as needed to maintain production in the fieldCommunicate effectively with all project stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues as they ariseMaintain project as-built drawings (redlines): ensure accuracy of both subcontractor redlines and company redlines

Project Financials:
manage/verify subcontractor invoicing and company invoicing to clientManage multiple subcontractors and/or projects simultaneouslyConduct regular site inspections and quality control checksQualifications:Strong leadership and communications skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with all team membersExperience and skillset within telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless networks, and related technologiesFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations, such as NEC, OSHA, and FCC guidelinesTime management, organization, and problem solving skillsAbility to prioritize and execute tasksDecision making under pressureProficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, Fieldwire, and BluebeamProven experience as a Project Manager in the telecommunications construction industry (preferred, not mandatory)
