- Install and configure van accessories, including but not limited to lighting, audio systems, communication devices, and security features.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute complex van modifications.
- Interpret and follow wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and installation instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of installed components and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Test and quality-check installations to meet company and client expectations.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers as needed.
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and electronics.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy components.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in automotive technology or related field is a plus.
