    Position Overview

    The Assistant Store Leader of Visual Merchandising plays a crucial role in collaborating with the Store Leader to achieve store goals, including exceptional guest service, sales targets, expense management, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation. Your focus will be on creating a top-notch guest experience, sharing product knowledge, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. Visual Leaders are key in enhancing visual design, seeking inspiration, and driving continuous improvement.

    • Exemplifies excellent guest service by setting the standard for company service protocols
    • Proactively offers timely feedback to team members, acknowledges and rewards performance to enhance retention
    • Ensures accountability among associates for achieving financial targets and performance benchmarks
    • Manages conflicts effectively and coaches following company guidelines
    • Empowers team members and involves them in decision-making processes
    • Encourages dialogue and feedback among team members to find solutions
    • Develops team members through personalized approaches, matching skills with tasks and providing challenges for growth
    • Fosters team commitment through support, relationship building, and recognition of individual contributions
    • Leads by effectively managing change and overcoming challenges
    • Provides recommendations on team member recruitment, promotions, and terminations based on performance
    • Conducts sales associate and keyholder training sessions collaboratively

    Process

    • Consistently meets or surpasses store and personal goals contributing to overall store success
    • Plans, executes, and maintains floor sets and refreshes
    • Coordinates window installations and manages seasonal decor placement
    • Manages product replenishment and mannequin placement and design
    • Oversees store atmosphere including scent, music, and layout
    • Efficiently controls workflow through planning and delegation
    • Executes tasks within set time frames and completes opening/closing procedures
    • Adheres to loss prevention practices and reports incidents to safeguard company assets
    • Maintains effective communication with the executive team
    • Capable of lifting and carrying heavy boxes (up to 30 lbs.)

    Presentation

    • Uses weekly reporting for tracking and analyzing business results to enhance sales strategies
    • Interprets Home Office visual guidelines through collaboration with Store Leader / District Leader
    • Works with the Visual District Leader to manage floor sets, window displays, and overall visual aesthetics
    • Maintains awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment, communicating effectively with the team
    • Manages new product placement and provides feedback on product performance to the Visual District Leader

    Qualifications

    • 1 year of Retail Management experience
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Physical ability to perform various tasks including prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 pounds regularly
