    The Financial Aid Assistant must have excellent customer service skills and be a problem solver.

    This position is part of the front-line team dedicated to providing accurate, friendly and efficient service to student, parents, visitors and staff.

    Experience with Banner AR and FA software, MS Word, Excel, Federal and New York State financial aid programs required. Responsible for processing payments, tracking cohorts, scanning documents and answering inquiries in person, and via telephone and emails. Maintain the Student Financial Services website. Assist in projects, presentations, and events. Support FT staff and supervise Student Worker staff, as needed.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree preferred.

    Minimum 2 years experience working in a Student Accounts/Bursar and Financial Aid preferred

    Two years of experience in a customer service related field.
