In this role you will perform duties associated with providing emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and Bell Ambulance Policies.

How you will contribute:

• Provide high quality client care by utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools based on assessment
• Perform proper treatment modalities based on internal and external protocols
• Establish good rapport with clients, their families, and the healthcare community
• Maintain HIPAA privacy laws and discretion with sensitive information
• Communicate effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operation and quality care
• Provide accurate and complete trip documentation, both clinically and demographically
• Perform regular station and squad maintenance, paying special attention to areas of safety
• Participate in the 'pit stop' process ensuring all need supplies and equipment are present and in good working order
• Obtain, then maintain all licensures and training required by the State of Wisconsin for this position
• Demonstrate the ability to operate company vehicles safely, exhibiting knowledge of proper driving procedures and response tactics
• Other necessary job tasks as assigned

Education/Training/Experience

• Minimum of either a high school diploma or GED
• Current/valid State of Wisconsin EMT-B license
• Current/valid American Heart Association CPR card or similar curriculum certification
• Current/Valid Driver's License
• NREMT license desirable but not required

• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift in a safe manner, a minimum of 125 pounds
• Must meet fitness for duty requirements set forth by the policies of the Company, which may include a medical and physical evaluation

This position carries out responsibilities in the areas of ambulance preparedness and ambulance

inventory.

Essential Tasks:

Restock equipment and supplies in ambulances

Restock supplies in medical bags

Learn the OperativeIQ inventory program

Count / maintain inventory levels in supply room

Keep supply room and shelves around the station organized and clean

Be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work alone.

Occasional Tasks:

Wash ambulance exteriors, keep interior tidy

Fill in for supply department co-workers at other stations

Transport supplies from one station to another in the supply van

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Must have a current driver's license, and a driving record that meets the

minimum requirements of insurability.
