    Description
    *The Opportunity*Avantor is looking for a *Senior Maintenance Technician* to install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures. The Sr. Maintenance Technician conducts general maintenance activities primarily on machinery and related equipment, troubleshoots problems and escalates issues as needed.

    This role will be a full-time position based out of our *Aurora, Ohio* office.

    *Work

    Schedule:

    • Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm (overtime as needed).
    *What we're looking for**Education: *High School diploma or equivalent degree.

    *Experience:


    • 5+ years industrial maintenance experience to include: electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and fabrication.
    • HMI knowledge and troubleshooting experience required.
    * cGMP and 5S familiarity.

    • HVAC systems experience preferred.
    * "High Purity Water System experience" is a plus

    *Additional Qualifications:


    • Familiarity with continuous improvement projects.
    • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using maintenance software such as e-maintenance.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to travel to Twinsburg, Ohio warehouse (as needed).

    • Maintain building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.
    • Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, material handling equipment, etc.
    • Complete and maintain required reports when maintenance tasks and repairs are concluded.
    • Answer security alarm calls as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
