TidalHealth Cardiology located in Salisbury, MD is seeking an Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner Under the direction, supervision, and responsibility of a physician will conduct independent clinic sessions, interview patients, take medical histories, perform physical examinations, order laboratory tests, coordinate the continuum of care, educate patients and significant others, oversee clinical testing, and prescribe appropriate treatments.

• Streamlines the provision of highly specialized professional services to patients, thereby improving patient care and increasing the efficiency of the physician group.
• Provides comprehensive, age-appropriate, and episodic care to both well and ill patients as a health care team member.
• Evaluates effectiveness of previously implemented medical treatment.
• Establishes priorities in patient care and management with a plan of care related to the patient's identified problems, including medications, diet, therapeutic procedures, etc.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of the plan and consults with other health team members regarding proposed treatment guidelines, arranging referrals when indicated.
• Participates in patient education initiatives and coordinates short and long-term patient care through consultation with multidisciplinary teams.
• Performs outpatient clinic duties including but not limited to, comprehensive history and physical examinations, establishing accurate diagnoses, prescribing medications, and ordering pertinent diagnostic and laboratory tests, imaging studies, and procedures.
• Performs and monitors diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Records patient visits/interactions in a concise, clear, and timely manner in the electronic patient records. Initiates basic and advanced cardiac life support in response to emergencies
• Communicates with health care team members to ensure patient and organizational needs are met.
• Meets quality and productivity goals established by Medical Partner's Administrative Team; assumes responsibility and accountability for organizing time and workload to meet patient, staff, and departmental needs.
• Adheres to departmental, organizational, State, and Federal policy, rules, and regulations, as well as all contractual obligations.
• Performs miscellaneous related duties as assigned.

• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice and active NP licensure
• Must be (able to be) licensed as a nurse practitioner in the state of Maryland.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Completion of the TidalHealth credentialing process is required before the start date.
• Must maintain current licensure and certification for duration of employment
