    Title: Voice & Data Technicians (Levels I-III)

    Locations: Fort Worth/Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, TX

    Duration: Long Term

    Job Description:

    Level I Technicians:

    • 6 to 18 months of experience in voice and data installations.
    • Familiarity with EIA and TIA Standards.
    • Proficient in identifying, pulling, labeling, dressing, terminating, and testing Cat 3, 5e, 6, and 6a communications cabling.
    • Ability to install support structures and terminate workstation outlets (110 and Panduit).
    • Exposure to closet terminations, dressing, and multi-pair terminations is a plus.
    • Experience in other related fields such as security, fire alarm, fiber optics, nurse call, CCTV, or audiovisual installations is advantageous.
    • Comfortable reading blueprints and possessing basic hand tools, PPE, and specialty tools.

    Level II Technicians:

    • 1 to 5 years of experience in voice and data installations.
    • Proficient with EIA/TIA & ANSI Standards.
    • Capable of all Level I tasks with additional responsibilities.
    • Ability to read blueprints and identify, pull, and label Cat 3, 5e, and 6 cables.
    • Skilled in closet terminations using 110, 66 block, Bix, and Krone Hardware.
    • Exposure to fiber terminations and low/high-level testing and documentation.
    • Experience in multi-pair/strand terminations on both copper and fiber.
    • Potential to lead teams of 3-10 technicians on-site.
    • Proficient in documenting test results, troubleshooting, and performing site surveys.

    Level III Technicians:

    • 3 to 10 years of experience in voice and data installations.
    • Proficient in all Level II tasks with additional lead-level responsibilities.
    • Ability to lead crews ranging from 7-30 technicians.
    • Skilled in project management, material management, staff management, and scheduling.
    • Competent in completing Gantt charts and other project management tools.
    • Proficient in performing all terminations, testing, and documentation on both copper and fiber optics.
    • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and delegate tasks.
    • Comfortable working in the field for extended periods.
