- Responsible for performing line checks which will include checking the following: the bottle cleaner, capper is going on properly, sleeves on the jar, will check detectors, code dates on the product, metal detectors, weight checker, perforation on the sleeves, code dates on the box, and check the palletizer.
- Grab samples hourly from the manufacturing line to perform micro testing and chemistry testing to ensure products are within company specification.
- Perform fill volume, pH, titrations, acidity, salt %, viscosity, fat % and moisture content. Microbiological testing will include coliforms, yeast & mold testing, aerobic plate count.
- Raw material testing of milk, vinegar, and oils.
- Perform calibration of testing equipment
- Enter all data collected into a niche software program they use (SAP).
- Perform pre-operational inspections and swabbing for verification of equipment cleanliness
- Required to perform calibration of testing equipment

- Release product from hold status pending negative micro counts.

Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in the sciences OR prior experience performing quality checks in a food manufacturing environment
Previous experience in fast paced environment and prioritize job tasks
GMP Experience is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-starter and ability to motivate self and others
Strong problem solving skills
NICE TO HAVE:
1 year of experience or internship experience of lab testing and QA experience from food environment
