POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Design Engineer for immediate hire in Sugar Land, Texas.

JOB DUTES:

• Design, analyze, and document new / existing products, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Oversee development and testing of engineering prototypes.
• Document designs through bills of materials, cost analyses, and drawings.
• Redesign internal components for improved quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Develop engineering solutions and participate in cross-functional teams for product launches.
• Coordinate project work internally and externally for on-time and within-budget completion.
• Collaborate with suppliers for quality improvement and issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement projects related to product design and quality.
• Communicate directly with customers and sales team to determine scope and product solutions to meet specific needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5+ years in design engineering.
• Experience with hydraulic product design/specification.
• Understanding of hydraulic formulas.
• Experience using CAD.
