Duties and responsibilities are limited to those that fall under the scope of practice of unlicensed health care providers acting under the direction of a licensed nurse, in order to ensure quality and continuity of patient care; accepts and supports the philosophy, purpose and objectives of Baptist Health and the Department of Nursing. These will include but limited to selected technical skills, data collection, lab specimen collection.Description
    • High school graduate or equivalent required, currently enrolled in an accredited nursing school. Must have completed a MINIMUM of Fundamentals of Nursing Care, Pharmacology, and Medication Administration in Nursing School. BLS. Currently employed as a PCT, Nurse Intern or Extern by Baptist Health. Knowledge of body mechanics and basic safety, principles of physical care and comfort. Knowledge of patho-pharmacology; Ability to work as a team under the direction of a licensed nurse. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
