    Job Description ECU Health About ECU Health Duplin HospitalECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina.

    The 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 25,000 patients per year.

    In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.

    Position Summary A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is a credentialed medical professional with academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.

    The scope of practice includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience and completed ARDMS or ARRT (US) registration, which is the standard of practice in Ultrasound.

    Minimum Requirements High school or equivalent (or higher)

    Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationARDMS or ARRT (US) registration required (physics and one specialty exam AB, OB/GYN) or registry eligible with registration obtained within 12 months of date of hire0 years of experience as US technologist (sonographer)Clinical LadderOther Information Primary Shift:
