    Description

    Feist Weiller Survivorship Position:
    Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, Division of Oncology

    Coordination with survivorship team to run shared medical visits for oncology patients weekly.

    Develop and support ongoing research and teaching opportunities available.

    Help support shared medical visits for oncology patients weekly.

    Provide 1:1 lifestyle medicine support for active cancer patients.

    Provide breast cancer patients with weight loss support.

    Support physician wellness programs at the cancer center.

    Collaboration with programs in the community (exercise/cooking).


    EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health System with large data warehouse for clinical research and quality improvement.

    Qualifications


    Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana by date of hire MD/DO licensed in LA.

    Licensed in Internal medicine or Med/Peds.

    Preferred Qualifications


    Background in holistic health and wellness; background in basic nutrition counseling; background in mind body therapies; background in physician wellness/burnout; training in resiliency and support services.
