To transport patients to and from the hospital.
Incumbent performs duties in accordance with corporate, organization and department policies and procedures while adhering to the overall mission of Bournewood Health Systems.

Full-time position, Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm; on call as assigned Qualifications:
Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; legible handwriting; ability to multi task in order to meet deadlines and set priorities; good interpersonal skills in dealing with the public and with patients; ability to work with minimum supervision; Valid driver's license and good driving record, and ability to read GPS is required
Location:
Brookline, MA Essential Functions:
Picks up patients from assigned locations to bring to hospital.
Transports patients to medical facilities as needed, continuum of care programs and home.
Transports records, supplies, legal documents to assigned locations.
Performs additional transportation needs as assigned by his/her supervisor.
Receives assignments from the Director of Support Services or Maintenance Supervisor.
Performs all assigned work and advises Director of Support Services or Maintenance Supervisor of results.
Picks up supplies and equipment using hospital vehicles.
Performs all assigned preventive maintenance duties.
Maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff; adheres to hospital safety policies and procedures; reports any potential safety hazards to the Director of Support Services.
Demonstrates a caring, professional attitude and behavior towards patients, visitors, staff and referral sources.Complies with all hospital policies and procedures including but not limited to patient confidentiality; participates in mandatory annual training.
Performs related work as directed.While this job is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties from particular jobs when circumstances (e.g. emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technological developments) dictate.

In case of challenging clients or situations – contact clinical staff as soon as possible for support PHYSICAL CRITERIA Must be able to drive for periods equaling up to eight hours.
Must be able to ambulate well.Must be able to perform basic automobile maintenance.
Climbing:
Ascending or descending stairs using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
Kneeling:
Bending legs at knees to come to a rest on knee or knees.
Crouching:
Bending the body downward and forward by bending legs and spine.
Reaching:
Extending hands and arms in any direction.
Repetition:
Substantial repetitive motion of the wrist, hands, fingers or other body parts
Reports to:
