Wolf Trap Brand Ambassador (Seasonal, 0-15 hours per week, late April to mid-October)

Work Schedule:

Must be able to work a varied schedule on both weekdays and weeknights. Hours depend on event schedule, but schedule can be flexible as needed

Position Location:

50% On-site

Pay Rate:

$13.90/hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent Wolf Trap Foundation at on-site and off-site events by manning promotional.
Maintain a positive image at all times while building rapport with current and future patrons on behalf of the Foundation.
Build and maintain relationships with contacts at various partner businesses and organizations
Distribute brochures, posters, and flyers to local businesses and at community events in the D.C. metro area.
Keep track of the distribution of marketing materials and remove/replace materials as needed.
Act as mascot handler for Wolfie, Wolf Trap's official mascot.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EQUIREMENTS:

High-energy individual who has confidence, charisma, and an outgoing personality
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Wolf Trap, its various venues, and the organization's mission
Previous customer service, promotions, or street team experience a plus
Ability to interact in front of large crowds and engage with families and children

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Needs to have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends, weekdays, weeknights, and some holidays.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to partner businesses and local events in the D.C. metro area.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time outside during summer months.
Must be able to lift or assist with lifting up to 50lbs.
