    The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position manages the store during the Store Manager's absence or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager leads store team members in servicing customers.

    Essential Job Functions

    1. Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
    2. Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, ensuring team members execute customer service programs effectively.
    3. Work with the store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
    4. Assist in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching, and ensuring ongoing training.
    5. Participate in the hiring process, including recruiting, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
    6. Ensure proper handling of customer interactions, including returns, exchanges, and refunds.
    7. Ensure merchandise invoicing, order processing, and communication of store messages are handled efficiently.
    8. Ensure team compliance with company policies, work schedules, and clocking in/out procedures.
    9. Perform store opening and closing duties, including security and deposit procedures.
    10. Maintain the store building, parking lot, signage, hardware, and vehicles.
    11. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, Abilities

    Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification

    Desired: Certified Parts Professional, ASE Certification, Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
