As Data Analyst, you will be working in a team to coordinate, manage, and analyze Enterprise, Master and Project Data and documentation for various projects. You'll be expected to use a large measure of independent judgement, considering, and weighing alternatives when appropriate, taking into account the financial and operational significance of the services being performed. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with data science platforms with proven experience leveraging DevOps and Test Automation tools
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Manage efficient planning and delivery of system updates, modifications, and adoption of best practices policies; Conduct research to identify opportunities to leverage new functionality within the systems to streamline processes
Implement products' new features to increase the utilization of the system through user engagement and provide recommendations for process improvements
Collaborate with Assistant Director of Technology and external vendors on system integration and data scrubbing as needed.
Provide support and training to staff on an ongoing basis to best utilize the systems, developing -how to- guides, training videos, and procedural manuals; Resolve technical issues with software vendors and/or contractors as needed.
As a Data Specialist, you will maintain data integrity, oversee information validation, data corrections, system utilities protocols, and evaluate the data usability for statistics and reporting needs.
Requirements
Demonstrate the ability to gather, analyze, and systematically compile technical information with attention to details – required
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, configuration, and integration with other company systems – required
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with others to explain project concepts – required
Knowledge of the database environment such as workflow diagrams, macros, SQL, and Visual Basic – preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Adobe Professional – desired.
BS in Computer Science.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with data science platforms with proven experience leveraging DevOps and Test Automation tools
Experience with, and understanding of, implementing and measuring Data Quality and Controls.
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Azure Databricks experience.
Knowledge of open-source software solutions and open-source as a business model
Object-oriented/object function scripting languages such as Python or Jav
The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position.
