    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a current MI RN license and strong neonatal care skills.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
    Cares for maternity and neonatal patients
    12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
    Weekend requirement of 1.5 weekends every 4 weekends
    No on-call responsibilities
    Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility
    Perform regular assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for maternity and neonatal patients
    Administer medications, provide direct patient care, and respond to clinical needs promptly
    Collaborate with other healthcare team members to update and improve care plans
    Updates and clarifies medication orders as needed
    No local candidates considered within a 50-mile radius
    Maximum of 5 days of requested time off allowed

    Requirements
    Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
    Minimum of 3 years recent L&D experience required
    Current certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP required
    Completion of a Labor & Delivery skills checklist within the past year required
    Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
