    Bear Down Brands is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage critical special projects related to retail customer sales initiatives.

    The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and adaptable professional who can ensure the successful execution of projects while leading interdepartmental efforts across our domestic and international teams and vendors.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Project Management:
    Plan, execute, and oversee all phases of projects, including scope definition, timeline management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.

    Projects will heavily include VAS (Value added service projects like CDU, Displays, Pallet programs etc.), Direct Shipments (DI) and other special projects with retail CPG customers.


    International Liaison:

    Serve as the primary point of contact between the sourcing team in Hong Kong and the Operations + PD team in the U.S., facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.


    Quality Assurance:

    Ensure that imported products meet specifications and expectations laid down by PD team by working closely with the HK team and the factory.

    Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, and Product Development, to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.


    Reporting:
    Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, issues, and resolutions.

    Skills and Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification would be a plus.

    Minimum of 3 years of work experience in project management in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry, preferably in an international supply chain or a production environment.

    Proven experience in handling new product development and VAS projects. Experience with DI (Direct Shipments) would be a plus.
    Ability to engage in multiple projects simultaneously.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between international and domestic teams.
    Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Apprise, is a bonus.
    Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is advantageous.
    Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

    Salary Range:
    $80,000

    Actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and relevant job & industry experience.

    Location

    This position will report to the Director of Demand Planning and will be working a hybrid-flex schedule in our Santa Ana office.
