    Your Role:

  • Evaluates hardware and software utilized by the department for gaps and inefficiencies, making recommendations to address them.
  • Maintains current knowledge of their field and advises senior management of current trends relating to the environment or available products.
  • Defines standards and procedures identified for work assignments.
  • Completes all tasks within the assigned schedule and budget while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Resolves, or seeks resolution to problems, from peers, immediate manager, or other Operations personnel.
  • Drives team to execute at a high level to contribute to the organization's success.
  • Communicates key information to team and stakeholders on a timely basis.
  • Maintains a positive work attitude, a high level of communication, and cordial relations that foster teamwork.
  • Determines/monitors training and development plans, performance/personnel management of members.
  • Builds capacity among the team by identifying skill gaps, making, and executing plans to address them.
  • Manages team performance through annual performance reviews, as well as sharing observations and suggestions for greater effectiveness on individual and team basis throughout the year.
  • Coaches, mentors, and develops engineers to enhance their professional growth.
  • Manages budgetary needs and participates in the budget process. Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of managing employees in a managerial role.
  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering role (required)
  • Previous expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience maintaining Azure Cloud, Cisco networking, SDWAN solutions, Load Balancers, Active Directory, Azure AD, Windows OS, VMware vSphere, storage systems, modern hardware and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery systems, system performance monitoring, and disaster recovery practices.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations best practices Preferred:
  • Previous experience with Azure cost management
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills OPEN TO REMOTE
