    Mold Craft a Westfall Technik company is located in the northeast corner of the?Twin Cities?metro area.?Since 1964, Mold Craft has been a custom mold maker of injection molds for plastic and metal parts. We offer complete injection mold manufacturing services ranging from design to prototyping to tooling.?Tight tolerance?and?high-volume multi-cavity molds?are our specialty -- and?our passion. We have a clean and well-managed tooling shop with?high-tech,?state-of-the-art machines and robotics?with motivated employees who embrace this technology and strive to use it to its fullest potential.     As a member of our 35-employee team, you will help support our perfection-driven customers and the (9) Westfall molding facilities across North America.

    We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector with the following qualifications:

    Professional Attributes

    • Performs in-process visual, dimensional inspection on products that run on the shift.
    • Performs Incoming inspection on all incoming products.
    • Initiates Nonconforming Material Report to document any noted non-conformance issues.
    • Complete and close out all Nonconforming Material Reports.
    • Assist Quality Assurance Specialist with First Article and PPAP inspection as needed.
    • Provides training and packet interpretation, as needed, for operators.
    • Generates product labels when needed.
    • Adheres to all safety procedures.
    • Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Keeps work area clean of debris.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • A minimum of one month of experience in quality assurance activities in a plastics injection molding environment is required.
    • Good basic mathematic skills, good communication skills, the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and blueprints, the ability to create routine reports and correspondence, and the ability to work effectively within a group setting in the organization.
